We were utterly obsessed with finding a direct route to Arrakis well, our version of it. We successfully charted the ultimate route to the Spices, the most precious substance in the galaxy. And yes, the spice must flow, even if it's just to make dinner taste better.

Millennia later, I entered the picture under the sign of the Scorpia colony-at least, from the original 12 tribes. My genetic line is highly nomadic. My father was forced to flee the planet Kobol following a massive planetary realignment in the cycle of '74, forcing my family to relocate, adapt, and survive. I grew up listening to tribal elders fight bitterly over computer languages, constantly dodging the fiery debris of the great COBOL conflicts. It is in my DNA to move around and adapt."

Being a Scorpio merely confirmed an existing condition: an inability to stop asking why until reaching the root cause... or until someone says, "yada yada.".
