- SCP-3885 is a ghost town called Vulture Gulch in Arizona, inhabited by SCP-3885-01, which are reanimated, decomposing humanoids with enhanced strength and durability. These entities focus on building and modifying cars, often with terrible and explosive results due to their poor understanding of mechanics, but they are generally harmless to outsiders and are contained by simply providing them with old vehicles and maintaining a perimeter around the town.

- The Republic of Indian Stream was a small, unrecognized state that existed from 1832 to 1835 in a disputed border area between the U.S. state of New Hampshire and the British colony of Lower Canada. Its formation was a direct result of an ambiguous boundary definition in the 1783 Treaty of Paris, leading to both American and British authorities attempting to collect taxes, which angered the local population. The citizens established their own government with an elected council and constitution to manage their internal affairs until the larger powers could settle the border dispute. It was eventually annexed by New Hampshire in 1835, though the international boundary was not officially resolved until the Webster-Ashburton Treaty of 1842.
