find-native-deps.py resolves a uv.lock and reports which dependencies need a native/compiled build, cross-checking whether a FreeBSD wheel already exists for the target version/arch/Python. map-to-ports.py best-effort maps those PyPI names to FreeBSD port origins. Neither runs as part of the poudriere hooks in src/, so they get their own top-level directory instead, with a README covering usage and dependencies.
