Eassa Ayoub · Cognitive-First Systems

I build Rust and TypeScript infrastructure for AI workflows, with a focus on state, evidence, replay, and operator control.

I came into software through mortgage, bookkeeping, SMB systems, and sales, so I have a healthy distrust of anything that looks brilliant in a demo and falls apart the minute an actual operator touches it. I build the boring machinery underneath because that is usually where the expensive chaos is hiding.

Most software makes users carry its complexity. I build software that feels like thinking — The question is never "is this complex?" It's "WHO carries the complexity?"

I vote computer.

Current work

Currently building with The Free Battery Factory, a software systems lab focused on audit-grade event history, adaptive workflow surfaces, deterministic replay, release-gated packages, and evidence-bearing runtime boundaries.

batpak | docs | An embedded, sync-first event store with append-only history, verifiable receipts, deterministic replay, and derived projections.

LiteShip | docs | A constraint-based adaptive rendering system that projects shared state across CSS, GPU, ARIA, TypeScript, AI manifests, and runtime surfaces.
