I have scaffolded a new task ROP-010 to address the request for adding packet counts to status files. This includes updating the status-update skill and the global status files. All proposed changes are documented in packets 001 and 002 within the task directory, as I am restricted from editing root files directly when responding to a comment.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 6199888869660430354 started by @attogram

- Created `active-tasks/ROP-010-packet-counts/` task directory.
- Defined Master Plan and DoD for adding packet counts.
- Created Packet 001 to update `task-status-update` skill with new format.
- Created Packet 002 to update `README.md` and `active-tasks/STATUS.md` with counts and links.
- Adhered to strict comment-triggered editing rules by only modifying the new task directory.
