Description
Opening the web UI currently expands every workspace folder. Start with only the active session's folder expanded, following DeepSeek Harness's workspace browser. Before a session starts, use the selected workspace; restoring a session elsewhere replaces that initial default.
Preserve manual folder toggles when sessions change or the project tree refreshes, and keep search matches temporarily expanded. Add
aria-expandedto folder buttons and document the behavior.Reference:
~/workspace/deepseek-harness/packages/client/ui-workspace/src/client/rows/WorkspaceBrowser.tsxand itscurrentGroupexpansion effect. ClawCodex keeps expansion choices for the current page, so reopening starts with only the active workspace again.Validation
npm run typecheck— passed.npm test— 656 tests passed across 53 files, including six sidebar regression cases covering startup, restoration, delayed tree loading, manual toggles, and search.npm run build— passed.git diff --check— passed.CI
Web client, both desktop jobs, Linux Python, and Harbor adapter passed. Windows Python is excluded from the merge decision at the user's request; the previous merged PR already had four unrelated Windows Python failures (baseline run).
