The
gh apicall result is stored without validating that it's valid JSON or that.head.shais non-empty. If the API call fails and2>/dev/nullsuppresses the error,DATAcould be empty andhead_shawould be set to 'null' (the string), which could cause subtle failures downstream. Consider adding a check.
