Installation Guide

Prerequisites

Before installing StackableTools, ensure you have:

  1. Fabric Loader: Download from fabricmc.net
  2. Fabric API: Required mod dependency
  3. Java 17+: (Optional, but recommended for best performance)

Step-by-Step Installation

Option 1: Using a Launcher (Recommended)

  1. Open your Minecraft launcher (Prism, Freesm Launcher, ATLauncher, etc.)
  2. Create or select a Fabric instance for your desired Minecraft version (1.20.0–1.20.4)
  3. Download the StackableTools .jar from CurseForge or Modrinth
  4. Drag the .jar into the instance's mods/ folder
  5. Launch and enjoy!

Option 2: Manual Installation

  1. Locate your Minecraft .minecraft folder:

    • Windows: %APPDATA%\.minecraft
    • Linux: ~/.minecraft
    • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
  2. Navigate to the mods folder (create it if it doesn't exist)

  3. Download the latest StackableTools .jar from Releases

  4. Place the .jar in the mods folder

  5. Launch Minecraft with Fabric Loader

Verifying Installation

  • In the Minecraft launcher, check the mods list — you should see "StackableTools" listed
  • In-game, run /reload to verify the mod is active (you'll see a console message)
