Most heroes don't get their powers in a lab. On your server, they will. One bottle at a time.
CompoundV is a modular ability plugin inspired by The Boys. Players drink experimental serums to roll for super powers — from flight and heat vision to a one-shot chest beam that vaporizes anyone in its path. Every ability has real controls, real cooldowns, and real consequences.

🖱️ Right-click a bottle to drink. After a short activation, your power is unlocked.
All serums are crafted at the workbench using a chain of ingredients. Use /cv tutorial to receive the in-game handbook with every crafting step.
🔴 The Patriot — like Homelander
The face of Vought. Untouchable, arrogant, absolutely lethal. Compound V's rarest roll — the V One variant is even stronger.
✈️ Permanent flight — automatic, no toggle- 🔥 Heat Vision — press F to toggle a high-damage eye beam with overheat system

🌊 The Diver — like The Deep
Ridiculous in every setting except water — where he's genuinely terrifying.
- 🐬 Extreme underwater speed with Dolphin's Grace and water-only movement boost
- 📡 Sonar — Sneak + Right-Click to ping and reveal nearby entities through walls
- ⚔️ Bonus Strength and Resistance while submerged
🏃 The Runner — like A-Train
The fastest man alive. Don't stand on the tracks.
- ⚡ Speed stages scaling up to top velocity — press F to toggle
- 💥 High-speed impact damage on collision with entities
- 🧊 Special movement buffs when sprinting over water
🦘 Jumper
- 💪 Passive Strength I
- 🦘 Press F — activates Jump Boost V and temporary fall damage immunity
- ⏱️ 15 second cooldown
💥 Shockwave
- 💪 Passive Strength II, Resistance I
- 💥 Press F — releases a 10-block pressure wave with heavy knockback (3 hearts vs players, 6 vs mobs)
- ⚡ Critical hits trigger mini shockwaves automatically
- ⏱️ 2 minute cooldown
⚡ Speedster
Press F to toggle Speed IV. Small Resistance bonus while sprinting. Outrun anything that breathes.
💪 Super Strength
Permanent Strength III and Resistance bonus. No toggle, no cooldown. You just hit harder. Forever.
👻 The Ghost — like Translucent
- Press F to activate Ghost Mode (Invisibility II + Resistance + Strength)
- 🔥 Passive Fire Resistance
- 🛡️ Immune to Heat Vision damage while invisible
- 🐺 Mobs stop targeting you while Ghost Mode is active
- ⏱️ 5 second toggle cooldown
♨️ Fire
Passive ring of fire ignites nearby enemies automatically. Comes with Fire Resistance.
✈️ Flight
Simple, clean, permanent creative-style flight. Includes a basic Jump Start.
🔥 Heat Vision I / II / III / IV / V
Four separately rollable tiers of eye-laser. Color indicates tier: blue → green → orange → red.
- Press F to toggle
- Overheat system: extended use triggers a cooldown. Toggle off early to reset the timer.
- Cooks raw mob drops on kill · clears vegetation in the beam path
👁️ Vision (X-Ray)
Sneak + Right-Click to reveal entities through walls with a glowing effect.
🌀 Teleporter
Short-range blink ability. V One upgrade available for longer range and reduced cooldown.
📏 Size Changer
- Sneak + Left-Click looking up → Giant form (2x size, +10 hearts, double melee, Jump Boost II)
- Sneak + Left-Click looking down → Tiny form (~3.5x smaller)
- Cooldown starts after returning to normal size
- V One upgrade available with stronger bonuses

- 🧪 Permanent Poison Immunity
- Press F — releases a poison gas cloud around you
- Sneak + Left-Click — short-range poison vomit targeting entities in front
🔥 The Countess — like Crimson Countess
- 🔥 Passive Fire Resistance, Strength II, Resistance I
- Press F — launches a fireball
- Double jump activates a fire jump boost mid-air
- Melee hits apply burn damage
⚔️ The Warrior — like Queen Maeve
- 💪 Passive Strength III, Resistance II, Regeneration I, +10 bonus hearts

- Landing from height triggers a small shockwave

💣 The Detonator — like Naqib
- 🔥 Passive Fire Resistance, Strength II, Resistance I
- Sneak (hold) — charges a countdown, releases a large explosion centered on yourself
- Self-damage protection active during the explosion
- Every 3rd melee hit triggers an explosive strike
- Melee hits apply fire damage
🟡 The Veteran — like Soldier Boy
The original supe. Pissed off, off the grid, and packing nuclear-grade firepower in his chest.

- ☢️ Chest Beam — Sneak + Right-Click charges and fires a thick yellow energy beam
- Tears through blocks · ignites everything · melts mobs
- Strips abilities from any supe it hits — even another Patriot

🔵 Sonic Boom — like Bombsight

- Press F / offhand switch — launches a Sonic Ring (30s cooldown) with knockback and area damage
- 💥 Explosive landing from height (30s cooldown)
⚡ Stormstrike — like Stormfront
- 💪 Passive Strength, Resistance, extra hearts
✈️ Electric flight with lightning jump-start particles- Press F — toggles a lightning beam dealing tick damage in a wide arc
- Melee hits trigger real lightning strikes on the target
- Fall impact calls 4 visible lightning effects
💛 Heal Angel — like Private Angel
- 💪 Passive Strength II, Resistance II, Regeneration II, +5 bonus hearts
- Sneak + Left-Click — heals a nearby entity (min 1 heart, 1s cooldown)
- Press F — commands a nearby mob to follow and protect you (they won't attack their owner)
🌊 Submarine
A supercharged aquatic fighter — The Diver's true evolution.
- 💪 Double Strength and Resistance bonuses while submerged
- 📡 Sneak + Left-Click — extended Sonar pulse revealing entities through terrain
- Press F — powerful Riptide Dash (1s cooldown) for underwater combat mobility

💀 What happens when I die with an ability?
By default, you lose it. Same risk Vought's heroes never had — and exactly what makes serums valuable and PvP genuinely tense.
⏱️ How long do Temp V abilities last?
The duration is rolled per drink between min_duration_minutes and max_duration_minutes (default: 15–120 min). When the timer runs out, the ability fades automatically.
🎲 Why is The Patriot so rare?
By design. Default weight is 1 against a combined pool of ~100+, so expect many bottles per Patriot roll. Tweak the weight in config.yml if you want him more common.
🧪 Can two players have the same ability?
Yes. Every drink rolls independently — there's no global lock.
🔧 Can I disable abilities or change roll chances?
Yes. Set any ability's chance to 0 in config.yml to disable it, or adjust the number to influence roll frequency. Run /cv reload to apply without restart.
🌍 What languages are supported?
English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Turkish, Russian and Simplified Chinese ship out of the box. Set language: en (or de, es, fr, hi, ru, zh) in config.yml. Drop a custom file into plugins/CompoundV/lang/ to add more.
