- The complete public application source and release history are in Posnic/POS.
- Release assets are published for Windows, macOS and Linux. Each release includes a SHA-256 checksum list for file-identity checks.
- The local edition does not require a Posnic account and its published privacy policy states that it sends no analytics or telemetry to Posnic.
- Product claims, runtime observations, source-test results and known limits are versioned in the product-facts record.
Local operation does not make every dependency local. Downloads, electronic payment authorization, optional cloud services and business-selected integrations can require a network or external provider. A source connector is not a certification for every physical printer, scanner, drawer, scale, display or payment terminal; test the exact equipment before deployment.
Start with the developer guide, architecture, contribution guide and governance policy. Please report security issues privately through the repository security policy, not through a public issue.
