Description

The infrastructure is responsible for:

  • Hosting secure secret placeholders in AWS Secrets Manager
  • Providing cross-account access for InterSystems (IS) to retrieve secrets
  • Enabling secure, GitHub Actions–based infrastructure deployment via OIDC
  • Managing Terraform state securely using S3

Context

This IaC introduces new terraform code to deploy the NHS-E secrets management infrastructure. J

This change establishes a secure approach to secret management for NHS-E GNOMS project. It removes the need of storing the secrets in third party SaaS platform and manually handling, providing real-time cross-account retrieval of secrets without storing externally.
