While using azure blob storage with data lake, I noticed excessive logs of that kind:
2026-08-11 16:24:40,382 ERROR: org.apache.hadoop.fs.azurebfs.utils.DateTimeUtils - Failed to parse the date nullThis happens because virtual directories in flat-namespace blob listings have no Last-Modified property.
The filter is deliberately narrow, and date parse failures for any other value are still logged.
How Has This Been Tested?
