README.html, PROGRESS.html, PLAN_R_PACKAGE.html and R_INTEGRATION.html are markdown-export artifacts, total ~3.9 MB, referenced from nowhere in the repository, and duplicate the .md files beside them. index.html is the application entry point and is untouched.
Stops the ~3.9 MB of rendered copies coming back on the next export.
