@daniel-baumann - I tried building both HEAD and ipfixprobe-5.7.0 in trixie chroot i386 environment (i386 architecture is not support as standalone anymore) with
The first issue is probably caused by stricter checks in the newer GCC 15.3 toolchain used by Debian build infrastructure. I will integrate the patches and verify the build on supported architectures.
Thanks!
P.S. We are also working on a completely new version of ipfixprobe, with a lot of new features and improvements, which should be released in the near future. The current version is already in maintenance mode, and we are only making minimal changes and bug fixes to it.
@SiskaPavel - this is great news about new version. If you want, I can help with testing / porting to 32bit architecture - I know this is not your primary target, but it's necessary for Debian package acceptance.
@daniel-baumann - have you tried compiling with _FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 set ?

@daniel-baumann - try attached patch, it builds and runs on i386 bookworm. Other warnings should be harmless (?).
Still needs review from ipfixprobe author.

Hi Martin,
@mzi77 thanks!
bookworm is rather old (2022/2023; current oldstable).. with the patch attached, it builds neither on trixie (current stable) nor sid, it fails with:

This Is well known problem on 32bit platforms with fuse3. I will look at it.

@daniel-baumann - I tried building both HEAD and ipfixprobe-5.7.0 in trixie chroot i386 environment (i386 architecture is not support as standalone anymore) with
cmake .. -DENABLE_INPUT_PCAP=ONand it compiled without problems.
Key define
-D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64was detected and used during compilation.
Architecture and Debian version used
You can use attached patch which will define _FILE_OFFSET_BITS explicitly, but it was not necessary in my case.
