Summary

D-CMH-0..12: Draft, documentation only. Extends the existing generic HotPlug architecture into a cold, versioned Class × Schema × Methods activation, where a single binding layer connects OGAR/OGIT authority, ClassView/WideFieldMask and method identity to both Quack and R2IL, with one mask-risc → ndarray physical executor and OGAR as the only DO authority.

This is a technical companion to OGAR PR #357 (typed logic/compiler idea), not an implementation, second ontology registry, new crate/VM, ABI change or authorization decision.

Artifacts

  • Class × Schema × Methods hot-plug architecture and migration RFC, D-CMH-0..12: exact proposed PreparedClass / PreparedMethod signatures, classid vs appid vs method key vs local FnAddr, canonical schema seals, four distinct field/policy/validity planes, Quack and R2IL lowering, read-only vs action dispatch, slab-version/hot-reload behavior, 23-field SIMAF/CATS and 216-field Odoo examples, responsibilities/open decisions.
  • Adversarial parity and implementation test plan, CMH-P01..P24: actual-authority/read-only hotplug, V3 vs persisted slab, 64/256-bit wide projections, mapping-grade, NULL/UNKNOWN, decimals/units, Quack↔R2IL equivalence and different legal programs, current ogar-loco Inventory identity, computed-field >=64 gap, RBAC/DO/idempotency, atomic reactivation and allocation checks.
  • Grounded contract inventory and corrections, with source pointers to existing crates and explicit non-built joins.
  • Board entry D-CMH-0 and regenerated board entries index (311 entries, previous 310 preserved, filenames matched).

The missing joint, not another engine

Consumer HotPlug -> OgarAuthority Activation + ResolvedReading
                         + OGIT canonical field URIs
                         + ClassView/WideFieldMask + schema seal
                         + OGAR MethodDecl/ActionDef
                         + existing ogar-loco Inventory/MethodKey/FnAddr
                        ↓
                 PreparedClass (proposed sidecar)
                  ├─ Pure Quack Query -> lower -> mask-risc
                  ├─ Pure R2IL procedure -> FoldDialect -> mask-risc
└─ DO proposal -> OGAR ActionInvocation hard gate -> handler

Important evidence correction: ogar-loco::Inventory, VecInventory::push_keyed, and Interpreter::with_inventory are already implemented. The gap is their semantic method link to OGAR MethodDecl, Quack's schema/lane bindings, and R2IL procedures. Do not build a new inventory. codegen_manifest::MethodSig is separate C++ signature metadata, not that executable method bridge.

Prior art and contracts respected

  • Existing hotplug.rs is zero-dep; no dependency on OGAR or global plug count fuse. A reading-only HotPlug with covered: [] must continue to work.
  • Current Quack Binder already resolves table/field/literal to numeric columns and validity; its Registrar is name+width only and not a production class registry.
  • Current R2IL procedures run via FoldDialect over mask-risc, not another bulk executor. One program has one terminal. Test answer parity, not arbitrary bytecode equality between fused/unfused plans.
  • WideFieldMask is a field-position mask with 256-position cap, while the existing compute DAG cycle checker addresses only 64 positions; DO authorization and row RBAC are separate.
  • D-XGP-0..8: SAP "CATS" here is SIMAF's 23-field time-entry DTO, NOT verified SAP CATSDB/BAPI parity; the Odoo wide-mask fixture uses account.move (216 fields), not account.analytic.line, and shared types/ordinals don't prove the business fields correspond. Native↔canonical mappings require approved Converted semantics and unit proofs.
  • Old SlabDeclaration format/reading is honored, and method/schema cache invalidation must not reinterpret persisted bytes. Permission and version checks remain at execution/commit, not only at activation.
  • Higher-order reasoning follows lance-graph #1496, #1497, #1498 and OGAR #357 with their own unproved semantics, not "inherited" from mask equality.

First falsifier

Bind a read-only SIMAF/CATS sum_billable_hours method to one canonical ordered field/validity map, dispatch it via (A) existing Quack Binder and (B) known R2IL procs against identical borrowed source generation, and compare both to a scalar oracle. Mix two different batch decimal scales, unknown optional fields, and tail-mask row counts. Swap a lane in one path: parity must fail. In parallel test the 216-field Odoo bit positions >63 and capability-less activation.

Validation / scope

  • Five documentation-only files; no Rust/Cargo/ISA/codebook changes.
  • Board index recalculated after confirming 311 on-disk entries and no missing indexed paths; existing 310 rows and curated findings preserved.
  • Falsification matrix CMH-P01..P24 specifies independent oracle and negative/disable control per test.
  • CI and executable tests not run for this documentation-only proposal.
  • No benchmark or SAP/Odoo/CRM real action parity claimed.
  • No code implementation/method identity minted or authority/permission rule changed.

Decision requested in review: choose the existing execution/binding home for the PreparedClass sidecar without importing OGAR into lance-graph-contract; then implement only D-CMH-1..5 as a separate first parity PR.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Added proposals and reference material for safely activating class methods against existing schemas, fields, permissions, and execution paths.
    • Documented validation and refusal conditions, read-only activation, protected action dispatch, and Quack/R2IL result comparisons.
    • Added a proposed acceptance-test plan covering identity, schema mappings, null handling, permissions, caching, and performance.
    • No runtime changes or tests were executed.

Walkthrough

This pull request adds documentation for a proposed class-scoped method binder, an inventory of existing contracts and gaps, and an unexecuted falsifier plan. It does not change runtime behavior or report executed tests, parity fixtures, or benchmarks.

Change: Other

Merge Risk: ⚪ Minimal · up to a7a97

Keep PreparedClass in a downstream OGAR-enabled integration layer, not lance-graph-contract; the RFC identifies suitable candidates and defers exact crate selection to W1. The parity work remains a separate, unexecuted follow-up.

A rabbit reads the class-bound plan,
And checks each field as best it can.
Quack and R2IL await their test,
A scalar oracle guards the quest.
No runtime hops; the notes are laid,
Then carrots mark the plans we made.
I thump for checks before the trade.

Adds plan policy-baseline-integration-v1 (D-PBL-0..7) for the console's
"Richtlinienverwaltung" panel. It keeps configured, assigned and observed
apart (GPO has no central observed state), keeps every encoder read-only,
and reads the GPO-to-CSP mapping as published data. Nothing past D-PBL-0
until the operator picks the setting key, the home crate and the Linux
source.

Adds visualization-prompts-v1: three image-model prompts that show only
what has shipped, each backed by a PR, with #1496..#1501 and this plan
drawn as research.
