Is it posible to set "Window localStorage" from NPM?

I am trying to bypass Authentication on this Host to use Proxy Authentication with Authentik. It seems it uses Window localStorage/sessionstorage to store and read Tokens. I described my approach here to setup Authentik and NPM. I am, However, unable to pass the Token in a way the host can retrive. Can NPM manuplate localStorage values ?
