Hi,
I am diagnosing an Xbox Series X that freezes under heavy gaming load and then either reboots or powers off.
Hardware:
- Xbox Series X, 2023 revision
- PicoDurangoPOST firmware v0.4.1
- XboxPostcodeMonitor v0.3.0.0
- Connected through AARDVARK
Observed behaviour:
- The console boots normally and repeatedly reports:
SP 0x0301 [SP_BOOT_SUCCESS]
CPU 0x3600 [CPU_BOOT_SUCCESS]
- Under load, the game freezes for several seconds.
- In one capture, the final codes before shutdown were:
SP 0x00A8
SMC 0xEC01
- In another capture, the monitor reported:
OS 0x200000000
followed immediately by a complete reboot sequence.
The console has been tested with another PSU, fan and heatsink, and the issue remains.
Could you confirm whether SP 0x00A8, SMC 0xEC01 or OS 0x200000000 have a known meaning?
