What version of the executable was used to create IDA database?

Hello! Thank you for your work on H3 modding and for publishing IDA database!

I was thinking about using IDA database to create a decompilation project. There is this delink tool that can use data exported from IDA database to split provided exe for later decompilation, which brings me to my question. What version of the executable was used for the database? IDA says that MD5 of the exe sum was E41E00F325E301D2F6E33FF82B6D3412. My English gog version does not match, I have

I suppose you must have used older version of the HD Mod, and possibly also other version of the original Heroes3.exe?

Hi! Thank you for your attention to this project.

I used the patched .exe from the HD Mod distribution (the one that is inside HD3 Data directory) for easier debugging experience.

I see, I didn't think to check there! By any chance, do you still have this executable, or HD mod installer from that era? Unfortunately, in my installation, md5 sum is different.

I have many directories with H3 for various mods, some were not updated for a while, but none has _HD3_Data/Heroes3.exe with your checksum. In fact, only one old mod has different sum than the latest version of HD Mod, which means it probably doesn't change often lately.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. _HD3_Data/Heroes3.exe does not have Heroes3 HD.exe. I've created Heroes3_HD.exe exe with the HD mod launcher, but it has different md5 sum (sums are mentioned in the first post). If that's the file you used, then either you had different original Heroes3.exe, or older HD mod was patching exes differently, or both things happened at the same time.
