Add CDN URLs for regional lists that failed to sync during the 2026-08-17 GitHub outage.

Prerequisites

• I verified that this is not a filter list issue. Report any issues with filter lists or broken website functionality in the uAssets issue tracker.

• I performed a cursory search of the issue tracker to avoid opening a duplicate issue.
• The issue is not present after disabling uBO in the browser.
• I checked the documentation to understand that the issue I am reporting is not normal behavior.

I tried to reproduce the issue when...

• uBO is the only extension.
• uBO uses default lists and settings.
• using a new, unmodified browser profile.

Description

During the 2026-08-17 GitHub outage that lasted more than 2 hours, I took the opportunity to see if any filterlists that are in uBO as opt-outs or opt-ins failed to sync or not during such circumstances.

My conclusion was that the following regional lists failed to sync during the outage:
• Adblock List for Albania
• EasyList Czech and Slovak
• Adblock List for Finland
• ABPindo
• EasyList Hebrew
• Icelandic ABP List
• Latvian List
• Macedonian adBlock Filters
• Romanian Ad (ROad) Block List Light
• Slovenian List
• EasyList Thailand
• ABPVN List

Now that GitHub is back online again, which made me able to crosscheck with https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/blob/master/assets/assets.json, cdn.jsdelivr.net handled the outage better than I had feared, even when its URLs were set to use GitHub as their source (/gh/). The above 12 lists that failed, were those that had no CDNs for them in https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/blob/master/assets/assets.json at all.

As such, adding ≥1 CDN link to each of those lists in assets.json will likely keep those lists syncable client-side the next time there's a GitHub outage.

Steps to Reproduce

Unfortunately it's near-impossible to correctly reproduce now after GitHub got back online again; but if GitHub hadn't been back online, I wouldn't have been able to post this issue report.

Expected behavior

Even during a single-fault situation, such as a GitHub global outage, all lists included in uBO should be able to continue for end-users to sync with in some way.
