Support for windows github runners ?

Hello Team,
thanks for the action to run MongoDB with the Linux servers. This action is very helpful to make integration tests with replica sets.
Is it possible to extend this action For Windows runners as well and if there are any plans ahead or any tipps to make this work with Replica Sets on windows-runners ?

@SanKumSan Hey Santhosh, I didn’t notice that this GitHub Action for MongoDB isn’t usable on Windows. It’s a Docker Action and maybe you can also use Docker on Windows runners? Did you try that?

@SanKumSan there’s still an open issue over in the actions/runner repository for container operations on Windows runners.

Yet, there have been new comments (from October 2025). Maybe you can find a hint for your situation?
