In a project I had the problem that the I2C wasn't working when the shield was mounted. The pull-up resistors were soldered, but the solder bridge was still open. The I2C was working without the shield. After visiting the gerber files, I realized that there is a GND Via through the SCL Lane right next to the solder bridge. Desoldering the pull-up resistor of the SCL Lane removes the problem. But I think the Via should be moved in the next version.
