Resize adjacent windows after dragging window edge - stopped working

This feature was working -- dozens of times per day -- until recent update.
Rectangle Pro version 3.82 (227)
MacOS Tahoe: Version 26.5.2 (25F84)
Works fine in default window size/locations as usual. Does not work in a saved Layout. I know it was working prior to the update (as recent as yesterday). My saved layouts no longer adjust when I resize a window in a snapped layout.

Thanks for reporting. There haven't been any recent changes to this functionality, so the bug is potentially a disconnect with how fast window information is being vended to Rectangle Pro from macOS vs the timing of the Accessibility API, and this can happen with updates - more often macOS ones than Rectangle Pro ones, though. I'll see if I can narrow this down and make it more robust, but until then it might work to simply reset Rectangle Pro's accessibility permissions:

1. Quit Rectangle Pro
2. In System Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Accessibility, first disable Rectangle Pro, then remove it with the minus button.
3. Launch Rectangle Pro and enable settings for it as prompted.

Alternatively, with Terminal commands:

killall Rectangle\ Pro
tccutil reset All com.knollsoft.Hookshot
open -a Rectangle\ Pro

Thanks for the detailed and fast response. Very nice. Unfortunately, neither method resolved the issue. I also double-checked that resizing on window drag was still enabled after the reset. Same behavior.
Another thing I noticed, not sure if it's related, my saved Layouts now have a gutter gap between windows. That was not there before.
I have not made any updates to macOS or related. This behavior worked end of last week (Friday). I only noticed it yesterday and today. Only on Layouts. Regular window snaps and throws still resize.

Interesting, this would point to a regression in the latest release. If you don't mind:

1. Can you send me your config so I can load it in? You can export it in the General tab of the Settings window.
2. Roll back to v3.80 and let me know if things are working for you there.

Attached config. I downgraded to 3.8. Behavior still exists. Even weirder, my Layouts are just ruined now. I had a layout to configure 4 windows. Use it every day, multiple times per day. It positions Outlook window, OneNote window, and 2 Finder windows. Been using it for months. This morning, I noticed the Layout was updated to include Acrobat, SnagIt, a smaller instance of another OneNote window (not even sure how), and even the rectangle pro settings window were added to the Layout. I did not update the Layout to include all of these. I did not create a new Layout. Honestly, no time for this. I'll just using snapping again. Layouts is broken for me. Thanks for the update; sorry to hear it went downhill.

Unfortunately your config didn't make it through (I think email replies in Github don't bring along attachments). Whenever you get more time, I'll be happy to continue walking this path and get to the bottom of it.
