As Marc noted on the community forums, having to pass --id for everything, all the time, is a real downer. Being able to alias services to IDs for more friendly access is a great idea.
(We probably cannot rely on blueprints for this yet, unless we develop some sort of client-side synchronization tool. Will have to think about this.)
