Is it possible to stop opening a new tab in browser but still have a hot reloading?

I was able to gain it with just a webpack but currently, I have to use create-react-app so it's not working.
The idea is to have 2 points:

1. Every time when the server is starting I don't want it to open a new tab in a browser (I can do it manually or ideally, it opens only once)
2. Every time when I change the code I want the app to be updated automatically in the app that is already running in the browser.

Now, I can achieve either. Using BROWSER=none I stopped the continuous opening app in a new tab but hot reload is not working anymore.

How can I achieve it? Thanks!

I found the solution! 2 dev variables do all the magic:

FAST_REFRESH=false
BROWSER=none

into the environment variables. In my case, I have a special file env.development which has all the variables I used listed.

Oh jesus.
First. just the BROWSER=none env variable is needed.
Second. You can set them like this by changing your package.json file:
