Note:

This PEP has a special approval process specifically because it changes the Packaging delegation and governance process. The Packaging WG has given their approval and since Deb provided feedback on the latest round of changes, she will get formal approval from the PSF Board, although we expect that to sail through smoothly. @pradyunsg will request formal approval from the pypa-committers mailing list as per PEP 609. Deb, Pradyun, and myself are co-authors.
