Verify plugin useability in claude desktop

We need to ensure that the claude code plugin works in Claude Desktop

Update: works, but currently blocked by Claude Desktop's own UI

After trying to jam it in there through a combination of UI-clicking, Claude-searching, and eventually having Claude start my PowerShell to manually kick off the OAuth flow — I actually got it working. So from my experience, the plugin does work in Claude Desktop.

The main friction is Claude Desktop's UI itself:

• It kept "crashing" / switching my mode from Code back to Home whenever I hit Install under Settings → Plugins → neptune-dxp → Connectors → neptune-dxp.
• The install action is quite hidden — there are three separate extension types (Skills, Connectors, and Plugins).

Assessment: There isn't much we can do on our end here until Anthropic fixes the Desktop UI. Given the pace they're shipping at, I'd expect that to land fairly quickly.
