Python command is not getting understand in VS code

Just writting this code in .py file and I am getting the following error .

My code :

Python terminal error :

NameError: name 'x' is not defined

This is because you are executing on the print line itself rather than the for loop which contains the x variable.
Try using smart send setting python.REPL.enableREPLSmartSend or select/highlight the entire for loop then try running those.
