Troubleshooting details

Please take a look at the other issues I've opened on GitHub: I tend to provide clear, comprehensive reports of my problem and troubleshooting steps. Well, right now, I'm ticked off, so I'm not going to donate an hour of my time to Microsoft and write a thorough report. Either I am a customer (e.g., Copilot) or a partner (i.e., open source): in either case, Microsoft is not meeting its obligations and demanding too much from me.

For your symptoms on the original issue:

1. painfully slow Pylance diagnostic
2. syntax highlighting lags by at least 20 seconds and may not update
3. Data Wrangler works from a Notebook but not when launched directly

First and second issue should be filed on https://github.com/microsoft/pylance-release and the third should be filed on data wrangler extension.

In regards to the third issue for issue reporter. I would close it against: microsoft/vscode#275277
