[Bug] Model Selector dialog closes immediately

• OS: openSUSE Tumblweed (Gnome 50, Wayland)
• Eclipse Version: 2026-03 (4.39.0)
• Plugin Version: 0.18.0.202605200009

Describe the bug

When trying to switch the model in the chat view the pop-up listing the models immediately closes.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to the Chat view
2. Click on the currently selected model
3. Observe that the dialog containing models immediately closes

Expected behavior
Model selector dialog should work

This worked as expected in 0.17.0 .

Can you please try with 4.40 RC1: https://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/I20260520-1800, there were some SWT fixes for Wayland.
If it doesn't help, will it work with X11?

Same issue with eclipse-SDK-I20260520-1800-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz . I cannot verify with X11 unfortunately because Gnome 50 is Wayland-only.

A workaround is to use the keyboard to navigate the models. Effort settings are not accessible that way though.

Another obervation: the agents dialog (Ask/Plan/Agent) works without problems.
