Request for enhancements #4

Description

@tangent1al

Developing an http3 module for Apache httpd is something that is desperately needed, and believe many people will appreciate the efforts you've made to date. Commendable to say the least.

However, it's not clear when Apache will move to a 2.5.x series release, let alone how long it will be before users are prepared to upgrade from a stable 2.4.x. In the meantime the entire Apache community is languishing with no http3 solution, whilst alternative web servers increasingly do so.

Your dependencies/README.md file explains the rationale for using the httpd trunk (AP25), over 2.4.x (AP24), and the use of APR bucket types. However, is there any possibility you could revise the mod_http3 code to also work with the latest 2.4.x series?

Would the presence of NGHTTP3/NGTCP2 libraries make any difference, since I know building curl with these present does support http3 connections.

Finally, is there any chance you could add CMake support for building on Windows?
