Auto Update script fails, PHP version list & CVE data not updating

The AutoUpdate script is failing, so the list of PHP versions and CVEs is not updated.

As a result, the latest PHP release (8.4.12) is missing, and tomorrow will become stale and stop working entirely.

Can you fix it please?

As I warned, the script can’t be run anymore because of: "Rules are stale: Rules are older than two weeks"

Its failing because it cannot download the CVE information. I'm not sure how to fix it, since that is an external dependency. Pull requests are welcome. source

It looks like there is a new CVE API that should be used instead of these old data feeds. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to implement a change like that. PRs welcome.

Its been two weeks since this project became 'stale'. Only a single person noticed per project and no volunteers. I have not used PHP in years, and the Node project is even less popular then the PHP version. I'm going to leave these tickets open for a bit longer, but I believe the end result is going to be archiving both of these projects. It seems the resources they are using: CI/CD, docker images, composer/npm packages, and general maintenance - is all greater than the usefulness being provided. I've enjoyed them both when I first created them, but perhaps its time to retire them.
