listen to ldap.authentication.before

I'm trying to listen to ldap.authentication.before event but not working.
In services I have
{ name: kernel.event_listener, event: ldap.authentication.before, method: beforeAuth }
In profiler the listener is not called.

In the same class I'm using
{ name: kernel.event_listener, event: ldap_tools_bundle.guard.login.success, method: onLdapGuardLoginSuccess }
wich is working ok.
