TODO: fill this in more.
This was intended as “community modules”.
To have clearer ownership, actively maintained mutli-owner projects can be moved into the ipfs org itself. Others can be put in one's personal namespace.
This also has the benefit of disambiguitating repos in this github org from the independent "IP Shipyard team".
Intended plan:
- All repos will be moved out or archived (no active repos in the org)
- There will be a README at http://github.com/ipfs-shipyard
- We won’t delete the organization.
This proposal came out of a verbal conversation with @mishmosh, @lidel , @aschmahmann , and @BigLep on 2024-02-07.
@mishmosh will be writing up the proposed plan. This is a placeholder issue for now that I can link against.
