schematic is crashing with "fatal error: runtime: out of memory"

I'm trying to run schematic on Ubuntu 14.04 or OS X 10.9.5 with go version 1.4. In both cases, I get "out of memory" errors when I run "schematic platform-api.json > heroku/heroku.go". It behaves the same way when I try my own schema. Has anyone tried this recently with go version 1.4? If so, do you have an example schema I can try? "go test" succeeds in the base schematic directory.

This looks like a dup of #29. When I refer to "platform-api.json" above, I mean the current Heroku hyper-schema (v3). Does schematic just not work with any "$ref"?
