Describe the bug
if model isn't a premium one, cant set it in config.yaml
steps to reproduce:
- put
model prop in config.yaml
- for value, put in a free model slug, i.e.
gpt-5-mini
- start copilot cli
- notice model has changed to something else
- cat the config.yaml
- notice your entry is deleted
It's a bit weird also that copilot is changing config.yaml, isn't this supposed to be a user controlled configuration file?
