Gravatar explanation is missing

There is no explanation the fact that we use gravatar - might be nice to add a small note ("Profile photo powered by gravatar" or something similar).

Not bad, but AFAIK phones and tablets don't support hovering. So it's probably not a good idea to use hovering to solve a functional problem like this.

Perhaps it would be nice to do both, I personally think this interface is a
nice addition but it shouldn't be the only one.

the account details page could provide a link as well of course
