- Status is one of Proposed, Accepted, Superseded by N.
- New ADRs are added, never edited in place; superseding is recorded by changing status and linking the successor. A decision that revises part of an earlier one is a new ADR too; the earlier ADR gains a pointer to it and keeps the rest of its text.
