Version 3.0.0. of the library is building correctly for macOS on M series chips. Dependencies on BOOST have also been replaced with standard library alternatives available in C++20. Thanks for your contribution and I hope you enjoy using the dds library. |

The Makefile that I used to compile on Mac M2 (placed in
./examples/Makefile). I've changed boost-related constants and a few flags for compilation.Note that you'll probably need to install a few packages through
homebrewfirst.One you make
libdds.a, then you can create a dynamic library (shared object) usingg++ -shared -o libdds.so -Wl,-all_load libdds.a -L/opt/homebrew/Cellar/boost/1.81.0_1/lib -lboost_system -lboost_thread-mt.
