Install Ubuntu 24.04 instead. It works.

Because I set this up yesterday, this file might be helpful to you. It's various notes I took down wile doing my installs:
ngdev-kubuntu.txt

edit: Oh shit, don't run those ln commands in my text file. They'll fuck you up 🙃
(I always get the argument order wrong with ln)

Because I set up a dual boot environment to get this working, I learned a few thing. You'll need about 30 GB to make this work. It seems 20 was too little for the installation. I had to re-size my partitions a second time to fix this 😅
