What

Launch TrapFall on Show HN, r/selfhosted, and r/rust to drive from 4 → 100 stars.

Why

BMAD CMO finding: TrapFall is launch-ready after v0.3.0 hardening. The MCP differentiator has a limited shelf life before competitors add it. Ship now, validate, iterate.

The cost of waiting (lost narrative, competitor copying MCP, momentum decay) exceeds the cost of launching imperfect.

Launch Plan

Phase 1 — Show HN (Tuesday or Wednesday 6-8am PT)

Title: "TrapFall — Self-hosted, Sentry-compatible error tracking with MCP tools for AI agents"

Body: Honest, technical, concise. Focus on:

• Rust + Axum architecture
• Sentry SDK compatibility (drop-in DSN swap)
• MCP tools (AI agents can query production errors)
• 6MB Docker image
• What's new, what's missing, what's planned

Phase 2 — Reddit (same day)

• r/selfhosted: Detailed post with Docker compose, screenshots, honest "this is new and has no users yet" framing. This subreddit loves early-stage OSS.
• r/rust: Focus on the 9→6 crate workspace architecture, Blake3 fingerprinting, performance story.

Phase 3 — Follow-up (Week 2-4)

• Dev.to / Hashnode: "I built an error tracker my AI agent can query" (narrative > features)
• Discord communities: self-hosted, Rust, AI coding (be a participant first)
• Awesome-selfhosted PR (if mature enough)

Prerequisites
