We need to install Cloudbase-Init strictly at specialize stage of Windows 11 installation. But we are having a strange problem.
When we first launch MSI installer, it freezes with the message "Preparing to install...".
MSI doesn't log anything and we have no idea what's going on.
Other MSI installers work fine. Pre-starting or restarting the msiserver service doesn't help.
But when we simply terminate the msiexec.exe processes and run the MSI installer again, it works fine and the installation completes successfully.
This happens with both stable and beta versions of Cloudbase-Init. But only on Windows 11. There is no such problem on Windows 10.
We are confused about what is going on. Maybe you have any ideas about this?
