Add version to .yo-rc?

Is it possible to have the generator put it's own version number in the .yo-rc file?

@thomporter I don't particularly see a problem with this, but I would like to know what the use case is. Reason being, the version in .yo-rc could be from the generator that initially created the file or the last one to use the file. Could make a big difference depending on what you're trying to do.

I was concerned about using the newer generator to generate things, I wasn't sure if they'd be 100% compatible. I was pretty sure I had a copy of the same version used, but I wanted to be sure. I ended up using git to branch my project and try what I thought was the correct version, and indeed seemed to get it right. Obviously upgrading the project to use the latest conventions in the generator would be nice, but we're busy bees over here! 🐝

You bring up a good point. Perhaps a comment in each file generated, w/ the version of the generator used? I'd even go as far as to say, JavaScript & CoffeeScript files only. I don't really see a need to put them in the HTML/CSS etc., since they're all packaged together by concern. In fact, we could just include a .versions file in each newly generated folder and drop it in there.

Not a huge deal, but might be useful from time to time.
