I also had another agent do this work for finding ICSE/FSE/ASE 2023-2026 distinguished reviewers. That agent suggests:
The most useful resources are:
-
Official conference awards pages on conf.researchr.org; these often list Distinguished Papers alongside Distinguished Reviewers:
-
ICSE 2023–2026
-
FSE 2023–2026
-
ASE 2022–2025
-
ACM Digital Library proceedings front matter, especially when the conference website omits awards. This worked for FSE 2022.
-
Older conference-specific sites, such as https://2023.esec-fse.org/info/awards.
-
PC-chair contacts for unpublished or incomplete lists:
C:\Users\emurphyhill\.copilot\session-state\6000d692-2f24-4e1c-a42f-bc9496cc01d8\files\pc-chair-contacts.csv
- Exact official awards URLs by conference/year:
C:\Users\emurphyhill\.copilot\session-state\6000d692-2f24-4e1c-a42f-bc9496cc01d8\files\distinguished-reviewers.csv
Recommended search order:
-
Conference /info/.../awards page.
-
Research-track page’s #Awards section.
-
ACM proceedings front matter/table of contents.
-
Conference social-media announcements and SIGSOFT newsletters.
-
Contact that year’s research-track PC chairs.
Important caveat: distinguish ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Awards from best-paper, distinguished-artifact, journal-first, SEIP, SEIS, SEET, and workshop awards. Record the track and source wording exactly.
https://www2.sigsoft.org/awards/distinguishedpaper/ is quite out of date. Update it to the most recent data available. Some of this will be available by web search (Copilot can do this), some we'll have to ask the PC chairs (@yqtian-se can do this).
Info we already got for ICSE 2026:

The last bit I'm unsure about -- ICSE SEIP (ex: https://conf.researchr.org/info/icse-2026/awards) looks like it also has official distinguished paper awards, so it appears non-research tracks have such awards, too.
