A first session that touches every part of the app once.
Open Capture and type whatever is on your mind right now, one thought per entry:
"need to fix my sleep" "mom's birthday — plan something" "that book about deep work everyone mentions"
That's it. They're safe. Notice how your head feels slightly quieter.
Open Life → + Area. Areas are the big departments of your life — most people want 3 or 4 to start:
- 💪 Health
- 💼 Career
- ❤️ Family
- 💰 Money
(The free plan includes 4 areas, which is plenty to begin.)
Back in Capture, take "need to fix my sleep" and organize it. Choose what it is — say, a habit: "In bed by 11pm", repeating every day, in your Health area.
The moment it has a repeat, it will show up on your day list automatically. You never have to remember it again.
Open Plan. Your new habit is already there. Add one or two one-time tasks with "Add something for today…":
"Call about mom's birthday" ⭐ Important
That's a complete day plan. Two or three things. The morning question — "what should I do today?" — now has a written answer.
Do the easiest thing on the list, then tap its checkbox. The progress bar moves. If the task belonged to a goal, the goal moved too — everywhere at once.
In the evening, Plan has a small journal on the same screen: how the day went, mood, energy. Two sentences is enough. On Sunday, open Reflect and it will show you the week you actually had.
