Sharing pane - check for missing features in the redesign

We need to check if the new design contains all features that we need. This should be done by manual checking and by looking in the code. Pls report on this ticket the findings.

For example - how to implement the Sharing pane? Always as a pop-up or as a full-frame pane? According to the new design, I only saw it sitting in a pop-up. Are we losing features if so?

Popup versus pane. I don't think we would lose features if we want to make it a popup. We can just add any feature we need to the pop up. In my opinion it does look better as a pop up.

I'm wondering if the old design 'submitters' is 'commenter'?

Two items I don't see are the buttons in the old design

• set the sharing of folder contents separate from the sharing from the folder (need to look at code for this to know exactly what it does)
• remove custom sharing for this folder, use the default from the parent? folder. (also need to look in code)

Here are the options of who you could give access to.

• first icon = a person which is in the new design
  Below I don't believe are in the new design or I don't see how to do them
• second icon - a group of people
• third icon - everyone
• fourth icon - anyone logged in
• fifth icon - a software agent
• last icon - a web app (origin)

In new design but not old is the 'anyone with a link'
