Hi, i love the simulator, it has helped me learn lots, and is far more accessible than others
of similar natures. However, there's just some missing features (or functionality) that i would
really like, and make large scale projects infinitely easier.
-
Arbitrary bit wires: Self explanatory, the wires built in help a lot, such as the 1, 4, and
8 bit wires, however they simply aren't enough variety for larger chips or circuits. Letting the
user choose an arbitrary amount of bits for a single wire, input/output, bus, splitter and merger
would all be massively helpful. I'm making a chip that requires a 16-bit address, and i can
improvise by simply having two 8-bit inputs, however it gets really messy really quickly, so having
wires that are 16 bit would help this a lot. 3 bit and 2 bit wires also have their own uses.
-
Group deletion: The selection tool is not that good thus far, if i select a group of chips,
and try to delete them, it doesn't work. being able to delete in bulk would be nice. On the topic
of group actions, i think group editing in general would be nice.
-
Transparent wires: Basically, i have a lot of overlapping wires in my chips, being able to hide
one chip and the wires connecting to it for a bit, letting me see the other wires under them would help with
dealing with stuff like that a lot. Highlighting would also work too.
-
Multiple tabs(?): This one isn't necessary by any means, however it would be nice have a bunch
of tabs so that you can have one window that is working on a major circuit, and another window
that would be working on a specific chip that needs it at the same time, mainly so that i don't
have to keep saving and starting a new chip.
