On search results page, provide a way to go back and refine the search

Currently, on the search results page, there is only a button to start a new search from scratch. Also, if I use the browser "back" function, that seems to reset the search form to empty. It would be nice if there were a way to return to the search query page, but with the previous search prepopulated so it would be easy to add more criteria, or remove one or two of them.

btw I had something like this from the very beginning of CatDat, but varkor opened an issue that it is confusing that the search is not cleared when the browser is refreshed. So I deleted the search from the browser's storage. Now I add it back (albeit in a different way). 🤷

If necessary I can also add a button that clears the search. (This is already possible by clicking on the properties, but involves several clicks.)

Yes, that's very much like what I was thinking. If it's not too hard, you could also keep the "New search" button to start from a blank search; and/or provide a "Clear" or "Reset" button on the search page itself.
