In the HttpHelper service, the Curl call doesn't specify a CURLOPT_TIMEOUT and/or a CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT. By the way, Curl using the default_socket_timeout PHP configuration directive.
In this case, the HttpHelper service should allow a timeout configuration.
