An agile sprint burndown chart: remaining work (story points or tasks) plotted over the sprint timeline as a step or line series, against a straight ideal-burndown guideline from total scope to zero. Common additions: scope-change markers, weekend shading, and an optional burnup variant showing completed work against total scope.

Why: probably the most widely used project management chart in software development; the catalog covers gantt-basic, gantt-dependencies and area-cumulative-flow but has no burndown. Fully static-renderable in all libraries.
