Describe the bug

Subtitles/captions show in the list, but after selecting them, they never appear. I'm rather sure this wasn't the case with 5.2.1-beta5.
I've only tried auto-generated subs btw

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Go to any video
2. Start player
3. Click on arrow at the top right of the player to show more options
4. Select subtitles
5. Be not greeted with subtitles
